1st April 2019
The first Nutrition in Emergencies training was run on the 7th and 8th March, in Stockport. This valuable bespoke training was designed specifically for our register members, with support from an expert from Action Against Hunger.
The training was attended by a mix of doctors, nurses, paramedics, pharmacists and operating department practitioners. A second training is due to take place later in the year. Register members are encouraged to complete the free online London School of Hygiene and Tropical Health Programming for Nutrition course and are eligible and encouraged to attend the bespoke Nutrition in Emergenciestraining.
