UK-Med is working with the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh (RCSEd) to develop a Faculty on Humanitarian Health. As part of the establishment of this faculty it is proposed that a training course in Humanitarian Health is developed as a common entry point for the faculty. UK-Med has secured start-up funding for three years through the UK Department for International Development (DFID) to develop both the course and the Faculty.
The consultants on this project will review current existing offers in this field, identify gaps in provision and target audiences, develop outline curriculum and learning outcomes, define learning approaches/methodology, provide the full course content for at least the core module and outline course content for additional proposed modules, and develop the key assessment processes and criteria.
