We are seeking to appoint a Humanitarian Pharmacy Adviser to provide technical oversight and management of all pharmaceutical aspects of the UK EMT programme with emphasis on the development of operational mechanisms and systems required for preparedness during an overseas deployment. The post holder will provide technical advice to pharmaceutical procurement and supply chain management. They will also provide guidance to programme partners, contribute to mentoring of volunteer clinicians and support the development and delivery of core training programmes.
Candidates must be willing and able to deploy overseas as part of an emergency response.
The post is offered on a part time fixed term basis to 31st December 2018 with possibility for extension. Salary is to be agreed.
