We need your support for our Emergency Response Fund: getting medical aid to countries like Ukraine, Afghanistan, and across the world when disasters and emergencies strike.
Last year we responded to 18 different emergencies, but the need for our work is growing. We need supporters like you to ensure we can be on the ground within 24 hours, whenever and wherever the next crisis occurs.
This year, we’re taking part in the Big Give Christmas Challenge – from 29 November until 6 December, your donations will be doubled!
This means we will have twice as much impact in places like Ukraine and Afghanistan – helping some of the world’s most vulnerable people access the care they need.
The Big Give Christmas Challenge is a match-funding campaign run every year by the Big Give, a registered charity.
We have an overall target of £14,000. This is split between Pledges (£3,500), Champions (£3,500), and online donations (£7,000).
Our generous donors helped us to raise £3,500 - allowing us to take part in this year's Big Give campaign.
Community champions have helped to match-fund another £3,500!
We now need your support to reach our target of £14,000! We'll be campaigning throughout November and we can only do it with your help.

We are taking part to double donations to UK-Med’s Emergency Response Fund which is a ring-fenced fund for getting medical aid to countries like Ukraine and when disasters and emergencies strike around the world.
The latest events in Ukraine, Afghanistan and the COVID-19 pandemic demonstrate global health emergencies are increasing. Your donation will go twice as far in supporting our life-saving medical work.
Donations can be made from 29 November until 6 December where your donations will be doubled! You can donate to our Big Give Christmas Challenge here >
Any donations made to UK-Med after the matching pot is exhausted will not be doubled – but they do count as extra, unmatched, and unrestricted donations to our campaign and will still very much make a difference to our work in Ukraine and across the world.
No, this isn’t allowed and will be in breach of the campaign Terms and Conditions. Doing so could result in UK-Med being removed from the campaign and our matching funds withheld. Please make sure to pay any donations through our Big Give portal rather than through our website!
No, unfortunately you cannot have your donation matched during the Big Give Challenge week (29 November – 6 December) if you already kindly pledged in August.
