We would like to thank everyone who responded to our recent COVID-19 vaccination status survey.
The survey was circulated due to possible host country requirements that incoming health workers should be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 before entry.
A summary of the results was shared with partners at FCDO, and we have reproduced these below for your interest.
Over half of register members completed the survey, an excellent response rate given the tight deadline for responses. This has provided us with vital information about our readiness to respond to sudden-onset disasters and disease outbreaks.

For UK-based personnel, the vast majority of you are well on the way to being fully vaccinated. As a member of UK-Med’s Register, you meet the requirements for accessing vaccinations in the UK even if you are not currently in a frontline clinical role.
Please contact deploymentreadiness@uk-med.org if you need us to provide a letter to confirm your eligibility so that you can access vaccines.
Outside of the UK, we will work with register members most likely to be needed for a response to identify any practical options for vaccination at the earliest opportunity, although we have only limited influence outside of the UK health system.
