HEAT course (September-December 2021)

UK-Med will be running two Hazardous Environment Awareness Training (HEAT) courses  in  October, November and December 2021.

Upon completing the course, participants will be able to respond in conflict zones and other particularly hazardous environments.

Time commitment

Participants will need to commit to attending all three of the live sessions on the following dates:

  • 14, 21 & 28 October, 8.30-9.30 am
  • 2, 9 & 16 November, 8.30-9.30 am
  • 1, 8 & 15 December, 8.30-9.30 am

In addition, participants will need to commit to completing 5-7 hours of self-directed online study, to complete all of the modules in time for each of the live one-hour session with the trainer.

Please note that whilst it is worth considering taking study leave due to the time commitment required, UK-Med is not able to cover any associated costs. The HEAT course is CPD accredited.

Application

Please note that the number of places available on this training is limited and prioritisation will be given to those who are on-call in 2021.

If you would like to be considered to attend this training, please complete this application form  by midday on Friday 10  September 2021.
