As COVID-19 continues to overwhelm health services worldwide, your support has never been more vital

When I wrote this letter, even just a few weeks ago, the COVID-19 landscape appeared different. The rolling-out of vaccinations had allowed for a sense of optimism and many countries, such as India, appeared at a distant glance to be on the road back to normality. Heartbreakingly, with India now experiencing record-breaking numbers of reported cases every day, and new outbreaks threatening the healthcare systems in several others countries such as Yemen, this has served as yet another stark reminder that the crisis is truly global and can easily re-emerge if we let our guard down. We still have a long way to go. We never know when we’re needed, but UK-Med are ready for when we are called to help. Your support today will ensure we’re there when our teams are needed, and to help prepare countries to respond better against COVID, future outbreaks and when natural disasters strike.

Thank you for standing with us – Dr. Ram Vardi

The quicker our teams can get to work, the more lives can be saved.

When an emergency hits, the right kit is vital to ensure they can get straight to work.

Your gift today could help UK-Med’s teams hit the ground running with the medical kit they need.
