Trauma Recovery: Working together to deliver life and limb-saving health care in Ukraine

On 23 and 24 May 2023, participants from the Ukraine Ministry of Health and Ministry of Defence, international organisations, UN agencies and INGOs, national NGOs, donor governments, health institutes and key professional bodies, came together in Kyiv to share our current experience in Ukraine and planning for the future.

Keynote session

Welcome and reflection from Vincent Vial, UK-Med Country Director in Ukraine, on the challenge that lies ahead to deliver trauma care in Ukraine.

Keynote session

Dr Serjii Dubrov, First Deputy Minister of Health, Government of Ukraine, outlines and shares reflections on the priorities of the Ukraine Ministry of Health for trauma care for war wounded over the coming 2 years.

Discussing the links between earlier discussions and policies and strategies of the international community, donors and other key stakeholders.
