Salary: up to £65,000 annual gross

UK-Med’s health teams provide essential support to health systems around the world in times of crisis and humanitarian emergencies. Our support services are vital in enabling this to happen. We are seeking an exceptional individual to provide leadership across the organisational support services that underpin effective programme and operational delivery across all of our activities, including the UK Emergency Medical Team.
Our new Director of Support Services will be responsible for developing strategic frameworks to enable management of resources, both financial and human, and governance to ensure that the charity operates efficiently. They will do this at a vital time for the charity, as we deliver new levels of programming, diversify our funding streams, develop our new strategic plan and prepare to bid for the next phase of the UK Emergency Medical Team.
Our ideal candidate will have extensive experience of directing operational service management, planning and delivery including finance, HR, and administrative systems across multiple programmes of work delivered from the UK and overseas. You will have experience of global/humanitarian health funding and delivery mechanisms including grant management and reporting, and the commissioning and contracting of support services. You will be an inspirational leader with the ability to build excellent relationships both externally and internally. You will be a strategic thinker with excellent analytical skills and a track record in driving change at an organisational level.
