Role: Learning & Training Coordinator
Salary: £26,000 – £30,000 per annum, dependent on experience
Hours: Full-time 35 hours a week. Some weekend and evening working may be required for training delivery
Duration: 6-month fixed-term contract from January 2021 (with potential for extension)
Location: Primarily from home but will be expected to attend meetings, workshops, and team activities in UK-Med office in Manchester, UK
We are looking for a passionate and experienced generalist training professional with experience in quality assurance to join our Training & Capacity Building team on an interim basis.
The Learning and Training Coordinator will support the activities of the Training and Capacity Building Team related to online, blended and face-to-face learning programmes. The postholder will play an essential role in supporting the delivery of quality learning for UK-Med’s members, staff, as well as external stakeholders, in addition to coordinating and contributing to quality assurance and follow up processes. The overall purpose of the role is to support several larger ongoing training development projects with regard to quality assurance, copy-writing and coordination. The coordinator will also support on drafting training terms of references for projects planned for 2021 and generally provide support to ensure that training and capacity building delivered by UK-Med continues to live up to a high standards.
