Physiotherapist – Ukraine

Do you have demonstrable experience as physiotherapist, specialised in trauma/ortho?

Role: Physiotherapist

Hours: Full-time. Immediate start required.

Pay: £3150 to £3300 per month (dependent on experience)

Duration: Minimum of 6-12 weeks (longer availability is highly desirable)

Location: Ukraine Programme

This role is part of our Ukraine Programme and will be carried out within Ukraine

UK-Med is a frontline medical aid charity. Born of the NHS, we’ve been working for over 30 years towards a world where everyone has the healthcare they need when crises or disasters hit.

We are looking for a multiculturally versed physiotherapist to deliver scientifically rigorous treatment protocols for trauma surgical patients.  You will be able to make yourself available to travel and work internationally at short notice for a minimum of 6-12 weeks (longer availability is highly desirable) to deploy in Ukraine, supporting the health needs of in surgical hospitals as part of the country wide program.

Our ideal candidates will be fully licensed and experienced physiotherapist who have significant experience working in emergency contexts, you will be confident and capable in assessing the current practices, developing action plans and implementation of necessary actions, whilst supporting and working alongside your Ukrainian colleagues. Experience practicing physiotherapy in humanitarian contexts is highly desirable.

You must hold a current license and be able to demonstrate your current and unconditional membership of a suitable registering organisation. You must hold specific qualifications / professional registrations in Physiotherapist/Degree.

You will be determined, high performing, compassionate and collaborative, as well as being committed to learning and supporting others to learn.  Language skills will be an advantage.
