Apply now for our Essential Response Training course

UK-Med will be running its Essential Response Training course across three sets of dates in September and October 2021. 

This blended online training offers an excellent opportunity for our non-UK based register members to learn more about what to expect when responding with UK-Med and the UK Emergency Medical Team (UK EMT), as well as to interact with fellow UK-Med Register members and members of UK-Med staff in our headquarters.

Course details

The material is covered across five self-directed E-learning modules, to be completed in advance of a live full-day virtual classrooms.

The classrooms will be led by subject matter experts, to a maximum of 20 participants per session. The classrooms will take place on the following days:

  • Wednesday 22nd September 2021
  • Friday 1st October 2021
  • Thursday 14th October 2021

Participants will undertake an assessment at the end of the course to confirm their learning.

Eligibility – Who can apply?

Please note that the number of places available on this training is limited and places will only be allocated to those who have already completed the pre-requisite tasks at the time of applying to attend this course.

Please only apply for this training once you have completed the pre-requisite tasks outlined below, as a place will not be allocated to you if the application requirements are not fulfilled.

Pre-requisite tasks  

This includes completion of all self-directed online e-learning modules which are:

  • UK-Med Induction Pathway which includes:  
    • UN BSAFE
    • UK EMT Induction
    • UK-Med Induction (Please note that if a place is allocated to you, if you have not done so already, you will be asked to complete the UK-Med Induction, which is currently being redeveloped and only open upon invitation).
