We have launched a Middle East Crisis Appeal to scale up our work in the region while we continue to send experienced humanitarian medics from our roster to deliver life and limb-saving health care. Your support will save lives in the most desperate of times.
What We Do
UK-Med is a humanitarian medical aid charity. Born of the NHS, we are the only UK-based NGO to be verified as an Emergency Medical Team by the World Health Organization. We provide health care for people impacted by disasters or conflict, drawing on a range of health and non-health specialisms to support our global responses.
Respond
As a medical humanitarian aid charity, we respond rapidly to emergencies, deploying health teams to conflict or disaster zones to save lives.
Prepare
We work with local health staff to strengthen their skills, enabling health services in other countries to be better prepared for emergencies.
Learn
We work with academic partners to promote evidence-based practice that improves patient care in the humanitarian sector.
