Pre-course learning: As a pre-requisite of this training we require participants to complete
Anaesthesia in Austere Environments online course from the Royal College of Anaesthetists.
The Anaesthesia in Austere Environments course is free to access as an e-course for any NHS
employee as e-learning Anaesthesia Module 15 on the e-LfH Hub.
Eligible specialities: This training will be offered to anaesthetists, operating department
practitioners (ODPs) and theatre nurses who have completed the core training pathway and the precourse learning.
