Course aim: Participants will be equipped with knowledge and competence to deploy as part of a
medical team in response to disasters and outbreaks and to efficiently resolve the challenges of
pharmacy in austere environments.
Course description: This interactive training is designed to introduce pharmacists, pharmacist technicians and logisticians
to the key issues that they could face during a deployment.

• Set up and Design of the Store
• Quality Assurance (as a Counterfeiter)
• Risk (Action Planning for Lost Pallet)
• M-Supply and EMT Supply Chain
• Donations and Healthcare Waste Management

Eligible specialities: This course is open to pharmacists, pharmacist technicians and logisticians who
have completed the core training pathway.
