New CPD accredited online course: ‘Introduction to Humanitarian Healthcare’

New course: ‘Introduction to Humanitarian Healthcare’

We are excited to announce the launch of a new online course: Introduction to Humanitarian Healthcare, developed by UK-Med in partnership with the Faculty of Remote, Rural and Humanitarian Healthcare (FRRHH) at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (RCSEd).

This is an amazing resource whether you are new to humanitarian work, or an experienced humanitarian worker seeking a refresher and opportunity to reflect on previous deployments.

Visit the course page on our website  for the course FAQ and to learn how to enrol.

To hear more about the benefits of appropriate training, you are invited to join us on 14th April at 7pm for a free webinar, ‘Approaches to Training for Humanitarian Deployment’ by the Faculty of Remote, Rural and Humanitarian Healthcare.

The first part of this webinar will give a background overview of why and how the course was created and how it supports the training pathway for humanitarian deployment.

The webinar will be chaired by UK-Med’s founder, Professor Tony Redmond OBE, and will include expert panellists from clinical and academic humanitarian healthcare backgrounds. Find out more and register for the webinar here.
